Tropical Storm Salome (international name Haikui) left the Philippine area of responsibility early Saturday but the state weather bureau is monitoring a new weather disturbance over Mindanao.

Salome was last spotted 370 kilometers west of Sinait, Ilocos Sur, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The low pressure area was last spotted 875 kilometers east of Davao City. It will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Caraga, Davao region and Soccsksargen.
