Fire breaks out near Paco Catholic school

A fire broke out in a residential area in Paco, Manila, Sunday morning, reports said.

The fire along Santiago Street in Barangay 684 was reported to emergency dispatch service TxtFire Philippines at 8:58 a.m. It had reached the second alarm by 9:05 a.m.

At 10:30 a.m., authorities declared the fire under control.

The area is near Paco Catholic High School, radio dzBB reported.

No one was reported hurt and authorities are still determining the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. /cbb
