6 nabbed for ‘shabu’ possession

Six people were arrested in Manila from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning for alleged possession of “shabu” in separate buybust operations.

The suspects were nabbed in Ermita, Sta. Ana and Sta. Mesa.

The Manila Police District identified them as Romeo Bacister, 28; Paul John Sarvallon, 18; Raymundo Buenarte, 38; Erlven Delgado, 32; Donaldo Morera, 42; and Rey John Tiamzon, 41.

Malate policemen led by Senior Inspector Gil John Lobaton arrested Tiamzon, Morera and Delgado at about 9 p.m. on Oct. 10 along Zobel Street near Arellano Avenue.

Lobaton and his men allegedly seized four sachets containing white powder but their contents will still be examined by the crime lab.

Servallon and Buenarte were arrested at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in San Andres Bukid, Sta. Ana.

Bacister was arrested along Quirino Avenue in Ermita at 1 a.m. Wednesday, according to Supt. Emerey Abating, commander of Ermita police.
