Town engineer shot dead in Isabela

SANTIAGO CITY – The municipal engineer of Jones town was shot dead as he was about to board his car on Tuesday afternoon.

Santiago Police Station 1 chief Senior Insp. Jose Cabaddu identified the fatality as Engr. Johnny Lazaro, who had just left a cockfight arena when he was shot in the eye by one of the motorcycle-riding men.

Police has yet to determine the motive behind the attack, as of posting.   /kga
