Signal No. 1 up over 19 areas due to ‘Maring’

Tropical Depression Maring slightly intensified as it continued to move towards Quezon-Aurora, the state weather bureau said early Tuesday.

Bicol region, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Pangasinan will have moderate to heavy rains due to the tropical cyclone, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Signal No. 1 was hoisted over the following areas:
