Man killed by gunman in van in Cagayan town
TUGUEGARAO CITY – The owner of a rice harvester was attacked and killed by an unidentified gunman on Tuesday at Tuao town in Cagayan province.
Julito Matalang ,29, was driving a truck that was hauling the machine, when his path was blocked by the van.
A man alighted and shot Matalang in the head and torso with a hand gun, said PO1 Marvin Lagreo, the policeman investigating the homicide.

Lagreo said the investigation may look into Matalang’s possible drug ties.
He surrendered at the height of the police’s Oplan Tokhang, according to the investigator. Villamor Visaya Jr., Inquirer Northern Luzon
