Motorcycle gunmen kill motorcycle rider in Ecija town

STA. ROSA, Nueva Ecija – A motorcycle rider was shot dead by gunmen on board a second motorcycle along the Sta. Rosa-Tarlac Road in Saint Joseph village before noon on Thursday.

Arthur dela Cruz, 39, a resident of Jaen, town, was with his 41-year-old wife, Alona, and a 5-year-old niece, when they were attacked, police said. Dela Cruz was shot in the jaw, but the gunmen did not harm Alona and their niece.

Dela Cruz was rushed to a hospital in Cabanatuan City but he was declared dead upon arrival. Armand Galang
