Fire destroys 100 houses in Zamboanga Sibugay

ZAMBOANGA CITY – An estimated P1 million in property was lost to fire that hit a residential area in Ipil town in Zamboanga Sibugay Saturday night.

Chief Superintendent Billy Beltran, Western Mindanao police chief, said the fire razed at least 100 houses, mostly made of light materials, in Barangay Don Andres.

The fire which started at 9 p.m. was put out more than two hours later. CBB
