CABANATUAN CITY – A 65-year-old member of the village peacekeeping group in Barangay Caalibangbangan in this city, was found dead, wrapped in a blanket and with wire coiled around his neck on Sunday (July 23).

The face of Marcelo Pangilinan of the barangay peacekeeping action team (BPAT) was covered with a sack, while his hands were bound with packaging tape. His killer or killers wrote down a note along the tape which described Pangilinan as a drug pusher. The note also implicated other village officials.
