Rain will continue in most parts of the country on Thursday due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

The ITCZ, where winds from northern and southern hemispheres meet, is affecting Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

This weather system is also a breeding ground of low pressure areas.
