Man accused of rape found dead in QC

The body of a man with a neck wound was found at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Barangay Sauyo, Quezon City.

He was identified through an ID card as Prudencio Villaflores, a resident of Santan Street in Barangay Pasong Tamo.

Found near Villaflores’ body was a cardboard with the word “rapist.”

“We’re trying to determine if he had [rape] victims. They may be persons of interest,” said Chief Insp. Elmer Monsalve, head of the homicide section of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit. —Nikka G. Valenzuela
