Thunderstorms affecting Metro Manila, nearby provinces

Thunderstorms are affecting Metro Manila and nearby provinces on Thursday afternoon, the state weather bureau said.

Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, portions of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Zambales is affected by thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in an advisory at 3:28 p.m.

Thunderstorm is also expected over Batangas, Quezon, and Bataan within the next three hours.

The public was warned against heavy to intense rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods. FM/JE
