7 resort guests nabbed, charged for 1.5 kilos of marijuana in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—The Pampanga police on Monday (July 10) charged seven suspected drug pushers who were caught in a private resort in San Simon town with 1.5 kilograms of dried marijuana leaves on Saturday night (July 8).

The police filed drug charges against Dominic Cunanan, Kelsey Cruz, Harold Matthew Pallado and Beatriz Santiago, all 19 years old; Marc Rucel Diala, 20; Jolo Vergel Fotuna, 26; and Jurelle Santos, 22.

Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, does not allow bail for suspects caught with one kilo of marijuana.  SFM
