LUCENA CITY – Three former drug surrenderers were arrested in two
separate operations in a coastal village in Lucena City Saturday,
police said.

Supt. Arturo Brual Jr., Lucena police chief, said operatives armed
with search warrants, raided the house of live-in partners Ryan
Dichoso and Gloryvi Magana in Barra village around 5:15
a.m. and seized 11 small plastic sachets of “shabu” (methamphetamine
hydrochloride), weighing 3.2 grams worth P5,587 in the street market.

The police team also simultaneously raided the house of Ronnie
Ricafranca in another part of the village and found 19 plastic sachets
of “shabu” weighing 4.10 grams with estimated street value of around
P7,585.

Various drug paraphernalia were also found in both houses.

Authorities said the three suspects, all major suppliers of shabu in
the village, were in the list of those who surrendered to authorities
as government intensified its war on illegal drugs. GAL
