Bohol man stabs brod dead during feud on unpaid Internet bill

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — A 22-year-old man has been arrested by the police after he stabbed and killed his older brother who had suspected that he failed to pay their Internet bills.

Allan Saldia Jr. was detained at the police station in Tagbilaran pending filing of charges for killing his brother, Aldwin, 30.

Police said Aldwin, a resident of Dauis town, went to see Allan at 11:30 a.m. on May 23 in the New Capitol Site to ask for the receipt of the payment made for their internet bill.

Aldwin suspected that his brother did not pay their bill because their internet subscriber had cut off their connection.

A heated argument ensued between the two brothers.

Allan then went to the kitchen to get a knife and stabbed his older brother in the left chest and fled. He was later captured by the police.

Aldwin was brought to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.  SFM
