Pagasa: Thunderstorms in Metro Manila, nearby provinces

The public were warned to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds and lightning and possible flashfloods and landslides in Metro Manila and nearby provinces on Wednesday afternoon.

A thunderstorm advisory was issued by the state weather bureau Pagasa in Metro Manila (Marikina, Quezon City), Rizal (San Mateo, Antipolo), Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Quezon at 3:20 p.m.

Thunderstorms are also expected over Bulacan, Pampanga, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija and in other areas of Metro Manila in the next three hours.
