DID YOU KNOW: Commission on Higher Education

The Commission on Higher Education, the agency in charge of tertiary and graduate education in the Philippines, was created by virtue of Republic Act No. 7722 or the Higher Education Act signed on May 18, 1994. The commission is headed by a chair and four commissioners. It holds office at the Higher Education Development Center Building in UP Diliman, Quezon City. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
