Malacañang on Thursday said the controversial Rosenbauer firetruck deal would proceed in the absence of a temporary restraining order (TRO) that prevents its implementation.

“The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) firetruck deal will proceed. It is a perfected contract and there is no temporary restraining order that prevents its implementation,” Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said in a statement.
