Drug suspect killed in Ecija city

GAPAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — A suspected drug peddler was killed while his companion was arrested in a drug operation that turned bloody in Barangay (village) Mangino here.
Jessie Lagman allegedly fired at undercover agents of the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and was killed when they fired back at 4:15 a.m., on Tuesday, (April 11). said Senior Supt. Antonio Yarra, Nueva Ecija police director.

Jerome Eldepes, his alleged accomplice, was arrested.
