According to the latest data from the Department of Health, a total of 2,625 Filipino youth aged 15 to 24 years old were found positive for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in 2016. In December alone, 221 youth in this age range tested positive for HIV. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
