Passenger dies in Bataan bus crash

MARIVELES, Bataan—A 41-year-old passenger died when a commuter bus collided with an oil tanker in Barangay (village) Lucanin on Friday morning.

Roel Cuadro was killed in the crash when the Mariveles-bound bus slammed into the tanker as it crossed the Roman Highway, police said. Ten other bus passengers were injured.

Felix Sandigan, driver of the oil tanker, was badly hurt and was rushed to the Bataan General Hospital for treatment. RAM/rga
