Cotabato village official, companion shot dead
COTABATO CITY – Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a village councilman and his companion along the busy Pansacala Street here on Monday afternoon.
Senior Insp. Carlo Jurinario, Police Station 2 chief, said Johair Tan, 30, village councilman of Barangay (village) Bagua 2, was driving his car with Rahib Rora, 28 when gunmen riding in tandem on a motorbike opened fire on them.
The two died on the spot.
