DID YOU KNOW: MMDA Accident Recording and Analysis System

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s  Accident Recording and Analysis System recorded a total of 446 fatalities in 2016. Of this figure, 195 were pedestrians, 194 were drivers and 57 were passengers. A total of 20,876 nonfatal injuries were also recorded during the same period. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
