Gobenciong is Bicol’s new civil defense chief

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region 5 has welcomed Blanche Gobenciong as its new director while its former head, Bernardo “Raffy” Alejandro, will be leading an office in the OCD main headquarters in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
Blanche Gobenciong is now the director of the OCD in Bicol region after Alejandro, who served here for 10 years, vacated the office. Alejandro is now director for Policy Development and Planning Service of the national OCD.
Gobenciong once served as the officer-in-charge of the Negros Island Region (NIR). SFM
