Driver killed, 2 others critically hurt in Isabela City collision

CAUAYAN CITY – A 49-year-old man died when his tricycle collided with a truck at the national highway in Barangay (village) Sillawit at dawn on Thursday.

Feliciano Tuquib died while his passengers Jonard Corpuz, 34, and Jerry Mendillo, 40, are being treated for serious injuries at the Garcia Hospital in this city.

Truck driver Leody Repolleza, 31, surrendered to the police and may face charges of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and double serious physical injuries, police said. JE
