Blue upsets Red team in PDBC hoop
THE Blue Team backed by ABCD Byrhon Merchandise upset the favored Red Team sponsored by Uy Network of Cris Uy, 58-45, Saturday night in the second round of the Power Dealer Basketball Club (PDBC)-2011 Inter-color basketball tournament at the Sacred Heart School covered court.
The Green Team backed by Natasha/MSE Patriots also shocked the highly favored White – Blackwater skippered by Canjo Fernandez, 53-46.
Flor Sayson spearheaded Blue with a game-high 24 points, while Clint Suelto paced Red with 21 points.
Marlon Bernaldez led Green with 12 points, while the trio of Mark Laborte, Francis Galendo and Sim Tabique combined for 31 points.
Marcial Fernandez and Canjo Fernandez paced White with 17 and 15, respectively.
