Major airlines announced the cancellation of more domestic and international flights on Monday due to bad weather caused by typhoon “Nina” (international name: Nock-Ten).

The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) advised passengers to constantly check with their airline companies and travel agents the status of their flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Miaa earlier said it would close the Naia runway to flight operations once Nina’s windspeed reached 50 knots.
