LOOK: Bongbong Marcos hosts Christmas party for online supporters
Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. organized a Christmas meet and greet for his online supporters.
In several posts on his Facebook page on Tuesday, Marcos was shown mingling with his supporters, who called themselves “BBM Online Warriors” (BOW).
He captioned his posts, “Salamat sa aking masisipag na BBM Online Warriors (BOW) sa pagpapa-unlak sa aking imbitasyon na makasama kayong lahat. Ipagpatuloy ninyo ang inyong walang sawang suporta at pagmamahal (Thank you to my hardworking BOW for accepting my invitation to be with you all. Please continue with your untiring support and love).”
Marcos also launched a weekly online talk show aimed at highlighting his personal life and political crusade. During the show’s first episode, he reiterated that the most memorable gifts he received were the humble souvenirs from his supporters during the electoral campaign period.
In his bid for the Vice Presidency, he was nosed out by lawmaker Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo by just over 263,000 votes in the May elections. He filed a lawsuit to protest Robredo’s victory. Also, the former senator asserted that his father, the late Ferdinand Marcos, deserved to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetery). Gianna Francesca Catolico
