Jeepney driver nabbed with marijuana in Olongapo

OLONGAPO CITY — A jeepney driver was caught with about two kilos of marijuana worth P15,000 on Wednesday (Dec. 7).

Rommel Baluga, 27, was caught selling four packs of dried marijuana to a police agent during a buy-bust operation in his house in Barangay (village) Sta. Rita at 2 p.m., said Senior Insp. Vivianne Reyes, acting commander of Police Station 4 here.

Police also confiscated three bricks of marijuana and 25 sachets containing dried marijuana fruiting tops from the suspect’s home.

Reyes said Baluga had been operating in Barangay Sta. Rita and nearby places for more than four years, selling marijuana to students.  SFM/rga
