MANILA — Two bodies wrapped in packaging tape and garbage bags turned up in Barangay Pio del Pilar in Makati City early Thursday.

Investigators said the placards found with each body contained hashtags in millennial-speak “#nagmahal #nagbasag kotse #nagtulak #namatay”  (#loved #broke into cars #pushed drugs #died) and “#nagmahal #nasaktan #nagtulak #namatay” (“#loved #hurt #pushed drugs #died)

Responding policemen found two male bodies inside the bags who were hogtied and wrapped with packaging tape.

The victims were estimated to be between 40 and 45 years old. One of them was wearing a gray T-shirt and pants, while the other one was wearing an undershirt and khaki pants.

Eleven casings and a slug believed to be from a .45-pistol were recovered by crime scene operatives.
