The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) released on Thursday a facial composite of the gunman who killed Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Makati regional office director Jonas Amora.

The composite was based on the description given by witnesses who saw the suspect and his accomplice on a motorcycle near the entrance to Filinvest Homes East, a gated subdivision on Marcos Highway, where Amora lived.

The sketch showed a man in his 30s with brown complexion, of medium build and  5’4” in height.

FEATURED STORIES

Brief glimpse

The witnesses who were interviewed by Quezon City policemen described the gunman as wearing a black jacket, pants and rubber shoes. He removed his helmet briefly, allowing them to see his face, they said.

However, they were not able to get a good look at the motorcycle driver.

QCPD chief Senior Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar said that BIR Commissioner Caesar Dulay had given them permission to inspect Amora’s office and go over his papers. The victim was killed in an ambush on Nov. 21 in Quezon City while on his way to work.
