Power outage hits Metro Manila, nearby provinces

Several areas in Metro Manila and nearby provinces experienced brownouts on Tuesday evening due to a “sudden plant outage.”

“Your power supply may have been affected by a sudden plant outage that occurred at 7:30 p.m. (November 15, 2016) and may last for 10-15 minutes,” Meralco announced on Twitter.

“All efforts will be exerted to restore power as soon as possible,” it said.

Inquirer received reports that parts of Metro Manila, including Quezon City and Makati were affected. Netizens from Batangas and Cavite also complained of continued power outage. KS
