Cebuana Lhuillier tennis opens

TOP tennisters in Cebu led by Sally Mae Siso will be converging in Consolacion as the 18th leg of the Cebuana Lhuillier Age Group Tennis Championship unfurls today at the tennis courts in Laray, Consolacion.

This Group 4 Philippine Tennis Association (Philta)-sanctioned event is hosted by the Cebu International Tennis Centre Inc. (CITCI) and will run for three days until Oct. 30.

Ken Salimbangon of the CITCI said that they are looking at 100 entries with some also coming from outside Cebu.

Categories to be contested are 10 and Under Unisex; 12 and Under Boys and Girls; 14 and Under Boys and Girls; 16 Under Boys and Girls and the 18 and Under Boys and Girls. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
