Villacorta is new DILG-7 director
“TRUST me and I will also trust you.”
This was said by Ananias Mori Villacorta during his assumption as regional director of the Department of Interior and Local Government in Central Visayas (DILG-7).
The turnover ceremony of the new DILG-7 leadership was held on Tuesday at the DILG-7 training center in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City.
Villacorta was welcomed by the department’s employees with a song and sumptuous lunch.
He will replace Dr. Pedro Noval Jr., who is reassigned to DILG regional office in Tacloban City.
In his speech, Villacorta stressed that his stint in the DILG-7 will be one with color.
He described himself as an output-oriented director. He encouraged everyone to work for the organization. Further, he urged everyone to move on as one with him in steering the wheel of leadership.
Born in Carmen, Agusan del Norte, Villacorta is a career service officer with 36 years in public service starting as DILG field officer.
