Dove was rushed to the Deiparine Medical Clinic and was later brought to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, where he was declared dead on arrival.

In a follow-up operation, police arrested Dela Rosa in his uncle’s house in Magcagong.

Dela Rosa, who denied Maria Lyn’s allegations,  was the brother of Renante dela Rosa, the inmate who escaped from the Cebu Detention and Rehabilitation Center last Oct. 20.

In a TV interview,  Maria Lyn said Dela Rosa possibly held grudges against their family, which led him to killing her son. Ongoing investigation is done by the police./rhea ruth rosell
