Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Ronald dela Rosa arrived from an official visit to Thailand on Saturday with a Filipino fugitive in tow—a former law enforcer wanted for kidnapping and homicide.

Dela Rosa and the suspect, Alexander Pangilinan, landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on board Philippine Airlines flight PR 731 at 6 p.m.

“A very productive hunting trip with this ex-cop fugitive who has been wanted for kidnapping for ransom with homicide as the catch.  Suspect fled the country and evaded arrest for 10 years while employed as a resort manager in Thailand,” Dela Rosa said on his Facebook page.

The PNP public information office said details of Pangilinan’s capture would be revealed in a Monday press conference to be conducted by Dela Rosa. —JEROME ANING
