Dial 122 for your QC concerns

The Quezon City government has opened its own emergency and information help line—122—to address inquiries and other concerns from residents, visitors or transients.

The calls are directed to the city’s 24/7 Emergency Operations Center (EOC), which coordinates different service units, including the police, fire department and local medical responders.

Elmo San Diego, the city’s public order and safety chief, said the center is ready to take even nonemergency calls.   —Jhesset O. Enano
