Habitual user of ‘shabu’ gunned down in Pasay

An ex-convict was added to the list of suspected drug personalities gunned down by motorcycle-riding hit men in Pasay City on Friday.

Police identified the victim as 50-year-old Jaime Colacito of Ventanilla Street, Barangay 124.

According to the report submitted to Chief Insp. Rolando Baula, Colacito was sitting outside his residence at 7:35 p.m. when two men alighted from a motorcycle and shot the victim multiple times causing his death. His body was brought to Veronica funeral parlor for autopsy.

The police were reviewing the closed-circuit television footage in the area to identify and track the suspects who fled toward Tolentino Street.

The victim’s niece, Cherry Ann, told the investigators that Colacito was just released in June after being jailed for three years at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City for robbery and holdup charges.

She added Colacito was a habitual user of shabu and a known drug personality in their barangay.
