FULL LIST: 2016 physician licensure exam results
A TOTAL of 2,899 out of 3,695 passed the recent physician licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission announced on Wednesday.
Data from PRC showed that the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Saint Luke’s College of Medicine emerged as top-performing schools after recording a 100-percent passing rate.
Other schools that made it on the list of top-performing schools are:
-University of the Philippines Manila (98.67%),
-Cebu Institute of Medicine (97.56%),
-Angeles University Foundation (96%),
-Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health-Pasig (95.08%),
-University of Santo Tomas (94.84%),
-West Visayas State University-La Paz (93.81%),
-Cebu Doctors’ University-College of Medicine (92.31%),
-University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (91.50%), and
-Xavier University (91.43%).
The PRC requires 50 or more examinees with at least 80 passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.
Jeri Charlotte Albano topped the exam with an 89.50-percent passing rate.
