A 22-YEAR-OLD man died after he was shot by his live-in partner’s former lover in Manila on Friday.

PO3 Jorlan Taluban, case investigator, said Jefferson Mariano Guban of Peralta St., and his friend Arthur Aquino were on board a bicycle on Del Fierro St. corner Earnshaw St., Gagalangin, Tondo, around 6 p.m. when he saw Jerry Manuel Manding, 42, of Banahaw St., armed with a handgun in the area.

Aquino told police Guban got off the bicycle, approached Manding, and wrestled with him for possession of the gun. In the middle of the commotion, two gunshots rang out.
Responding policemen arrested the wounded Manding, and rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
