CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A colony of illegal settlers beside a brewery here may have become a haven for suspected drug users, three of whom were slain by policemen.

Orlan Paman, Danny Latid and Joseph Jay Caasi were killed when they fought arresting police officers during a Sept. 2 operation at the brewery’s compound in Barangay (village) Quebiawan, according to a report released on Tuesday (Sept. 6) by the Central Luzon regional police in Camp Olivas.
