Alvero said the official told investigators he had no known enemies or political nemesis.

It was the third explosion since last August to hit Polomolok, about 50 kilometers east of Koronadal City.

On August 21, a grenade was lobbed inside a videoke bar in Barangay Magsaysay that left one woman hurt.

About two hours later, an improvised bomb exploded beside a parked cargo truck in Barangay Poblacion. Nobody was hurt.
