2 cops on drug watch list killed in Pangasinan shootout
DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines—Two policemen on the drug watch list of the Pangasinan Police Office were killed in a shootout following a buy-bust operation on Monday night in San Fabian town.
SPO3 Marlon Nicolas and PO3 Jenny Agbayani had been under surveillance for alleged ties to drug peddling and a gun-for-hire operation, according to the police.
The slain police officers were in possession of 20 grams of suspected shabu (methamphetamine) and half a kilogram of marijuana. They also had P3,000 in marked money that an undercover agent used to purchase drugs from the two suspects. RAM
