The Quezon City government on Saturday afternoon advised residents near Tullahan River to evacuate the area as La Mesa Dam neared its spilling level.

In an advisory, Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista said barangays (villages) along Tullahan River, from Fairview to the boundary of Bagbag and Baesa, had been prepared for evacuation since Friday.
