2 Tagum City colleges suspend classes due to bomb threats

TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte – Classes have been suspended in two tertiary schools here following a bomb threat late on Monday.

Officials of St. Mary’s College of Tagum Inc. (SMCTI) in Barangay Magugpo North ordered students home after reports of a supposed bomb circulated past 3 p.m..

Military and police investigators were seen rushing to the premises of the Catholic-run institution to check on the reports.

Classes at the University of Mindanao were also suspended after receiving a similar threat.  SFM
