Bulacan cop killed in buy bust operation

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan —  A policeman, who had not reported for duty in the last two years, was killed in a drug buy bust operation on Monday night (Aug. 1) in Bocaue town.

Police Officer 1 Franco Sagudang, who was assigned at the Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) in the Central Luzon Police Office, was killed in a clash with the police at 10:30 p.m. in Barangay (village) Caingin.

He was classified as having been absent without official leave (AWOL) since 2014, said Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., OIC Bulacan police director.  SFM
