Ilocos, Ecija drug suspects killed
SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte — A drug suspect was killed here by policemen on Friday night.
Andres Pasalo was shot dead during a buy bust operation in Barangay (village) San Marcos, when the suspect fired at an undercover police officer at 7:40 p.m.
In Nueva Ecija’s Carranglan town on Friday, Jim Sequig was killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Sitio Calasigan, Barangay (village) Joson at 11 a.m. Sequig was on a local drug watch list.
On Thursday in Cabanatuan City, former PO3 Edmundo Plamenco, a dismissed police officer, was killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen near a sari-sari store along Fajardo St. in Barangay Aduas Sur here at 8:30 p.m.
The police said Plamenco was dismissed after he was implicated in illegal drugs and motorcycle thefts.
