DAVAO CITY, Philippines—Motorists from this city and those from other Mindanao areas who will be coming over should better learn to park at the right place.

The Davao traffic group warned it will tow illegally parked cars seen clogging the city’s major thoroughfares and hindering the smooth flow of traffic in the city.

Rhodelio Poliquit, head of the City Transports and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO), issued the warning after the purchase of two tow trucks, which CTTMO will use daily to tow away vehicles clogging traffic in major roads.

“Motorists should be cautious about where to park their vehicles because we will tow vehicles parked in prohibited areas,” Poliquit said. “Our top [priorities] are the main thoroughfares in the city.”
