Suspected drug trader slain in Rizal shootout
LOS BAÑOS, Laguna — A suspected illegal drug trader was killed in a drug bust in San Mateo town in Rizal province on Sunday, police said.
A report from the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police said Henrico Lauta, alias “Inlek,” died after he engaged policemen in a firefight during a sting operation in Barangay Malanday at 3:30 a.m.
Lauta, police said, was included in the San Mateo police’s drug watch list. JE
