List of gov’t execs with drug ties ‘will make you vomit’— Palace
A PALACE official described the list of government and police officials allegedly tied to illegal drug syndicates as something that “will make you vomit.”
“What I know is that I’ve seen the matrix and the drug matrix of those who are highly, allegedly involved in the sale of illegal drugs. What I can only tell you, that if you see the matrix, you’ll probably say that it is really unbelievable that ganoon kadami, na ganoon kadami na ’yung mga involved,” Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said on state-run radio dzRB on Sunday.
“Masusuka ka ’pag makita mo,” he added.
Andanar said that there are 1.8 million people involved in illegal drugs, citing conservative estimates from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The Palace official said that the President will name other “persons of interest” soon.
Duterte’s public shaming of police and government officials who are allegedly involved in illegal drugs began on July 5 when he named active and retired police generals as coddlers of drug lords.
